PUBLIC AWARENESS RE MSDH IMPROVEMENTS - CONTRACT 1

THE WEST MADISON UTILITY DISTRICT HAS RECEIVED A LOAN FROM THE MISSISSIPPI STATE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH (MSDH) DRINKING WATER SYSTEMS IMPROVEMENTS REVOLVING LOAN FUND (DWSIRLF) IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE U.S. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY (EPA).

CONTRACT NO. 1 - ELEVATED TANK REHABILITATION INVOLVES THE INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR REHABILITATION OF THE EXISTING 150,000 GALLON ELEVATED WATER TANK.  CUSTOMERS WILL BENEFIT FROM THE INCREASED WATER QUALITY AND SYSTEM RELIABILITY DUE TO THESE UPGRADES.

THE ELEVATED TANK REHABILITATION PROJECT WAS COMPETITIVELY BID AND HAS BEEN AWARDED TO STEPHENS TPS, INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF $156,850.00.

THE PROJECT IS SCHEDULED TO BEGIN 01/16/2020 AND BE COMPLETED BY 06/14/2020.
